  • Open a Word document.  Add your name. Title: Personality and Career Match.  Number the left hand side of the page and complete the following.
    • 1. List 5-10 of your strongest attributes which will help you in a career.
    • 2. List 1-3 careers that interest you or that you feel you would excel in.
  • Go to the Career Center, read the instructions and take their Career Test, based on your personality.
  • Remember your 4 letters and select “Description” for your personality type.
  • Read about your personality type and suggested careers.
    • 3. Did the careers you listed above appear on the list?  Does this surprise you? Why or why not?
    • 4. After taking this Personality and Career survey and getting your results, are you interested in researching any of the new careers listed?
    • 5. Using your interests and what you learned today, what career will you focus on for your website research?

    • BIS Night at the Wrestling Meet is on December 18th. Root for the Comets and sign in at the BIS Board table in the gym lobby between 6:30 and 7:30. All BIS students who sign in will receive an exclusive BIS prize. Post pictures of you and your friends at #CraterBIS.
    • E-mail submissions to kristen.sullivan@district6.org.
  • Go to the TED Talks website and watch a talk that sounds interesting to you.
  • Write a page-long response that 1.) summarizes the talk, 2.) explains why it was meaningful or important to you, and 3.) identifies engaging components of the presentation style or format (i.e. a narrative hook or anecdote, pictures, humor, statistics, etc.).
  • Read Freakonomics.
