Week of October 21st

MONDAY – Warm-up: North America with Central America and the Caribbean.

Activity: Annotation exercise using the article Neolithic Revolution. Students will receive a hard copy to mark up in class. The worksheet for student answers is posted in Google Classroom.

Due date is Thursday. This assignment becomes homework if not finished on Wednesday.

Activity – Continue your work on the annotation exercise. Pay attention to the directions! See the link in Monday’s post.

WEDNESDAY – Warm-up: North America with Central America and the Caribbean.

Activity – Early human history paragraph. Directions are linked here. The actual assignment is posted in Google Classroom. There will be three class periods provided to construct and edit this paragraph. It is DUE MONDAY. If not finished by Friday IT IS HOMEWORK!

THURSDAY – Warm-up: North America with Central America and the Caribbean.

Activity – Students continued to work on their early human history paragraphs. Some key words of concepts that should be part of the “story” are foraging, nomadic, Stone Age, migration, agriculture and civilization.

FRIDAY – Warm-up: North America with Central America and the Caribbean.

Activity – Students are encouraged to read their paragraphs aloud to themselves utilizing the “reading phones” in the classroom. This is the LAST DAY IN CLASS to work on the paragraphs. If not completed today IT IS HOMEWORK and due on Monday.
