THURSDAY – We have been working hard on our knowledge of weather and climate.

The learning targets are as follows: 1) I can identify and EXPLAIN the factors that influence climate. 2) I can create a climate graph. 3) I can use the climate data to determine WHICH of the influencing factors of climate have an effect on particular locations.

The end products that students need to complete for this unit are as follows: 1) Notes taken during videos and lectures. 2) A climate graph for one of the following locations – Medford, OR.; Paramaribo, Suriname;Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Bayanho, Mongolia (data sheets provided in class. 3) A rap song that explains the factors that effect climate (group project). 4) A final exam covering the content.

Climate unit due dates are as follows:

  • Climate Graph: 1/3/17
  • Notes: 1/09/17
  • Final Exam: 1/09/17
  • Climate Rap: 1/14/17
