Kids Colonize Room 15
Look at this great class! We’re still adjusting schedules, practices, and procedures as we adjust to the four-day work week and the large class size, but judging by the picture, we’re enjoying the process. This week we’ll try to get back on track with our trio of plays–Medusa, Pandora, and Anton and Grace Hopper. In history we’re continuing our study of Exploration and Colonization by looking closely at Jamestown. This week we’ll also be writing our first “Perfect Paragraph” book review. Students are already racing around the room in our Fact Car Rally, and they’re also off to a great start updating our Twitter page.
No vocabulary test this week.
Here are this week’s homework sheets: Tuesday, Sept. 22, Wednesday, Sept 23, Thursday, Sept 24.

Friday’s homework? Friday’s homework was to write a 16 page essay explaining the theory of relativity. Also, you were supposed to go to a local museum, interview the curator, and develop a computer program to help document the artifacts stored in the museum’s archives. Also, you were supposed to write a letter to the editor about your future access to high education. Also, you were . . . actually, how about we limit Friday’s homework to studying your vocabulary words or completing your sentence test repair?
