My third grade picture (1986) and my SOU graduation picture (2007)

Hello all!  I grew up in the Rogue Valley and attended Sams Valley Elementary, Hanby Jr. High, and graduated from Crater in 1996. I grew up on a 40 acre farm located in between the two Table Rock Mountains. My family and I raised cattle, sheep, and pigs. We were very active in 4-H, FFA, and sports. After graduating from Crater, I attended Oregon State University – GO BEAVERS!!  While studying at O.S.U. I had the opportunity to live in Quito, Ecuador for a summer and study Spanish.  I had a great time learning the language and experiencing another culture.  After graduating from O.S.U. in 2001, I moved to Greenwich, Connecticut to work as a Nanny for a year.  I had a fabulous time there spending nearly every weekend in New York City! In 2002 I moved to Key West, Florida and enjoyed the island life for six months before moving back home where I earned my Masters Degree and Teaching Credential at Southern Oregon University. In 2005 I married my husband, Deven, and my son Nolan was born last year. We live on a little farm just outside of the city of Central Point.  This is my seventh year teaching at CPE and I am loving it!  The students, parents, and staff are so great.  I truly feel blessed to be teaching here. 🙂
